End of Year Message from Governor Mitchell

Dear Warriors:

With your support, this year the Virginia Society contributed nearly $10,000 to support heritage projects in our area.  The General Society made matching contributions of more than 90%, greatly leveraging your individual donations.  We funded colonial topics in the speaker series at Virginia Museum of History & Culture; we funded important education and restoration projects at Henricus Historical Park and the James Monroe Memorial Foundation; and we supported the Jamestown Foundation and the National Society of Colonial Dames of America in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  For 2022, your Council has increased our goal for donations to $13,000.  It would be great if we could do even more.  Your annual contribution will ensure that we remain an active and relevant partner in the effort to educate children and adults alike about life during the early days of what became our great nation.  Your support has never been more important.  Please join me in making a tax deductible contribution before the end of the year.  You can now do this online by clicking on “Donate” below.
