Virginia Deputy Governor Channing M. Hall III and General Society GSCW Lt. Gov. Gen. George Lucien Brailsford presented James P. P. Horn of Jamestown Discoverywith a $5,000 check as the first installment of the VASCW’s 3-year $15,000 grant, augmenting the GSCW’s 3-year $150,000 grant for urgent archaeology needs. St. John’s has been a regular recipient of our support for their preservation and education programs featuring the site and reenactment of Patrick Henry’s rousing call to action, “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death” at the Second Virginia Convention.
