The Spring Court of the Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Virginia held April 9th, 6 pm at the Commonwealth Club heard about 16th century royal society from guest speaker award winning actress and Smithsonian Scholar, Mary Ann Jung. Ms Jung who portrayed of Elizabeth I (Good Queen Bess). Additional historical roles she presents are Amelia Earhart, Clara Barton, and Julia Child among others. She brought her performance of Good Queen Bess to Spring Court and entertained us with wondrous tales of Renaissance England and the little known social aspects of life in her kingdom.
